Ingredients

Sauce

1 Tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp sriracha

1 Tbsp ketchup

¼ tsp paprika

½ tsp vinegar

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp cornstarch

½ cup water

Paneer

8 ounces Appel Farms paneer, cut into cubes

2  Tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp cayenne

 ½ tsp salt

Oil for frying

Stir Fry

2 tsp ginger, minced

2 tsp garlic, minced

1-2 Serrano chilis, seeds removed and sliced lengthwise

2 onions, cubed

1 green pepper, cubed

2 Tbsp green onion, sliced

Instructions

Whisk all the sauce ingredients together and set aside.

Add the cornstarch, paprika, cayenne, and salt to a bowl and give it a whisk. Add the paneer cubes and toss to coat.

Heat oil in a large wok or nonstick pan and add the paneer. Fry the paneer on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking and burning, until they are golden brown. Take the paneer out and set aside.

Remove any excess oil from the wok, leaving behind 1.5 tablespoon oil. Once the oil is hot, add ginger, garlic, and Serrano chilies. Sauté for a minute or two then add the onions and green pepper.

Stir fry for 3-4 minutes on medium-high heat and add the paneer cubes back in. Toss the paneer with the aromatics for a minute.

Give the sauce a whisk and add it to the pan. Toss together for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is hot and takes on a thick, glossy finish. Add a little water if the sauce is too thick. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and serve hot.
