Fried Squeakers

Ingredients

4 cups vegetable oil

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

1 (8 oz) container Appel Farms Squeakers

Instructions

Unroll Crescent Roll dough.  Tear off a small piece of dough and stretch it around a Squeaker.  Press to seal edges so that it completely covers the squeaker.  Repeat with remaining curds, for the smaller pieces you can wrap two or three together.

In a deep fryer or heavy saucepan, heat the oil to 350°F.

Fry the Squeakers a few at a time, turning occasionally, for approximately 1 minute or until the dough is a deep, golden brown.  Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
