Holiday Gouda Log
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese
6 ounces Garlic Gouda, grated
1 ½ teaspoon worcestershire sauce
2 green onions, sliced
a few dashes hot sauce
1 cup finely chopped almonds
Instructions
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the Gouda and mix on low until combined. Add the worcestershire sauce, green onions, and hot sauce, mix well.
Spoon the gouda mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap and form it into a log about 8 inches long, use the plastic wrap to help form the log. Chill for at least two hours or preferably overnight.
When ready to serve, remove the Gouda log from the refrigerator. Place the chopped almonds on a dinner size plate. Unwrap the Gouda Log and carefully roll it in the almonds, completely coating the surface.
Place the Gouda Log on a serving platter with baguette, crackers, or vegetables.
Mild, creamy, buttery and pairs so easily with many things. Our Goudas are young (typically 2-3 months of age).
